Markham Community Events for You to Enjoy This Summer

There seem to be more and more Markham community events scheduled every summer. And 2018 is no exception.

Here are just a few of the events scheduled in Markham this summer.

June 5 – Colossal Business Networking Event

Boost your business at this massive networking event. Put on by the Markham Board of Trade, businesses from around Toronto and York Region will be looking to meet new partners, customers, and suppliers.

June 9 – Armadale Community Garage Sale

Start the summer by finding a bargain or two at this annual garage sale. Or you can get rid of stuff you don’t need and put a little cash on your pocket by renting a table for $15.

June 28 – Kindred Spirits Orchestra – Love & Faith

If you like little art and culture thrown in with your summer festivities. This is just one of the many performances scheduled at the Flato Markham Theatre in June.

July 6 to 8 – Markham Rotary Ribfest

If you’re looking for something to do the weekend after Canada Day, you don’t have to look far. Now in its 15th year, proceeds from the Rotary Ribfest go to local charities, and national and international aid projects supported by the Rotary Foundation.

July 28 – Art Jam to Live Music

Looking for something completely different? How about creating your own masterpiece while listening to live music performed by local artists? Best of all, you don’t even need to know how to paint. Just listen, paint and mingle with others doing the same.

Every Saturday Morning in Summer – Main Street Markham Farmers Market

Head to beautiful downtown Markham on any Saturday morning this summer to find fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, preserves, flowers and much, much more, all while listening to live performances.

One of the reasons Markham is such a desirable community to live in is the number and variety of community events that we all can enjoy year-round.
