4 Unionville Coffee Shops for the Connoisseur

What is it about coffee? While most tea drinkers seem perfectly happy with the tea in most tea shops, coffee drinkers will drive across town for the perfect cup and they’re always nervous when entering a new spot. Fortunately, considering the calibre of the Unionville coffee shops listed below, you don’t have to travel far if you live here. And if you don’t live here, you’ll want to start looking for Unionville houses for sale.

Try These Unionville Coffee Shops

We know you’re a coffee drinker, so let’s get right to it – in no particular order.

  1. Caffe Gran Sasso – It doesn’t get more “heart of Main Street” in Unionville than the Caffe Gran Sasso. Located straight across from The Arms, you can’t miss it. But once inside, you’ll wonder where it been all your life. Go for the coffee, stay for the sorbet and cookies.

  2. Douce Joy – If you don’t think there are any hidden gems left on Main Street Unionville, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. Located in the Planing Mill, Douce Joy offers organic Colombian espresso, cappuccino, latte, Americano and good old fresh-brewed drip coffee. BTW, we’re purposely not telling you about the menu because we don’t want to ruin the surprise. (Hint: there are naughty desserts here that you can’t find anywhere else.)

  3. Alchemy Coffee – Just west of Main St. and Hwy. 7, Alchemy is for those who like their coffee with a meal. You’ll want to eat breakfast, brunch or lunch here every day after you try the Eggs Benny, Pasta topped with Poached Egg, and Chicken + Waffles (yes, you read that correctly). But we’re here for the coffee and Alchemy doesn’t disappoint with rich versions of all the usual suspects, and some inviting options like cortado and affogato (OK, not purely a coffee, but irresistible nonetheless).

  4. Platform Espresso Bar – So if you like your coffee “just so”, and get it “just so” every time you return, try Platform. Enjoy international blends, including those from  Ethiopia and Brazil while making a selection from a menu that’ll make you glad you didn’t go to Starbucks.
